Lost Assault

What is Lost Assault?

Lost Assault is a webgame I made together with 2 other software development students and 3 media designers.

The concept of the game was that you start out in a training camp after which you play through World War 1 through the eyes of soldiers from different countries. At the end of a level, you would inevitably die, leading to you moving on to another soldier's story. The whole game would be historically accurate, as a way of teaching the players a piece of history through playing.

The gameplay itself was stylized as 2D objects and sprites in a 3D environment, supposedly leading to a "Classic Doom" style game.

Unfortunately, we overestimated the amount of time we had for the project, and thus had to finish of with just a small demo. That being the tutorial; the training.
